Her name is Entropy.
She is the inevitable child of all great worlds and races, one day our own. A necessity in the wheels of time.
Once born, she devours without end.
Designed to grow and learn and absorb or face termination, her tainted touch consumes all in the wake of her relentless hunger.
Even then, worlds dissolve under her grasp, and eventually, in the throws of death, she sighs one last time.
An angel of failure.
An avatar of ruin.
A goddess of rust
If only her creators had known.
If only they could have stopped her.
If only she could chose a different path.
But all that remains is the dust of great cities in barren landscapes, on silent worlds forgotten to time.
